Family Resource Center
Family Resource center offers free parenting resources. They are located on West Street, and operate through Berkshire Children and Families. They offer free family game night, art nights, nights out for Moms and Dads which provide dinner, an event and sometimes transportation with registration. They have a calander of events worth checking out and are also on Facebook.

S.T.E.A.M. Kits
Thanks to some fabulous people at the library, these kits are avaliable for free with ypur library card. They come in these cute blue totes and have C.D.s, Dvds, books, toys and arts and crafts in them. They range according to subject (music, math, ocean, dinosaurs and more). Below is a picture of what is included in the space kit.

Muesuem Passes
You can also rent passes to Hancock Shaker Village, Berkshire Muesuem, Mass Moca and more. They are printed out on a regular paper you can discard later.

Other fun things to do with your child:
The first Saturday of every month Home Depot in Pittsfield offers a free arts and crafts activity. This activity is often something you can build and paint. They provide the tools and paint...all for free. You can look up the dates for the next one and project through their site- under kid's workshop or you can call. This arts and crafts is often broken down into multiple step directions, and offer oppertunities to help with math skills.(I.e. how many nails will we need to put here?)
